MR. AND MS. INTRAMURALS 2019 CROWNED

Kyle Emphasis and Tasha Quiachon were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2019 during the Asian College of Technology (ACT) Intramurals 2019 last November 27 at the ACT grounds.

Kyle Emphasis, Golden Lions escort, had showed off his golden Matador costume during the Intramurals opening, last November eight, together with his muse, Kimberlee Carreon.

“Ang akong inspiration sa akong pag join sa muse and escort kay ang akong team which is the golden lions ug ang nag support sa akoa nga ubang mga tao (My inspiration for joining the muse and escort is my team, which is the Golden Lions, and the people who supported me),” He said, “Akong na feel sa akong pag daog kay happy kaayo kay bahalag ang muse sa Golden Lions wala sya na champion pero happy gihapon me kay wala me nangita ug daug sa among kaugalingon nageffort me para sa among team. Happy kaayo ko na naka daug ko pero sa katong daug nako dili rato para ako para sad to sa team nako. Unya na happy sad me ug samot kay kami ang na overall champion (I felt so happy when I won. Although our muse wasn’t declared as champion, we are still so happy because we are not there to win, but to also appreciate of my team. I am very happy to win and that win wasn’t only for me, but for the whole team and we were happier when we were the overall champions.)”

Tasha Quiachon, Blue Phoenix muse, wore a blue Muay Thai costume during the Intramurals opening, together with her escort, Alyassa Usop.

Quichaon said, “I don't really have any inspiration sa akong sportswear for Miss Intramurals. I was undecided on what to choose. Plus the fact that I was given two days to prepare for that and I was thinking that time, as long as I have a sportswear attire, it’s fine and of course I was also thinking about how can I put on outfit in a way that I can't spend too much.”

She also stated that she never expected to win because the other teams were well prepared, “I was happy to win the title kay for two years two Quiachon ang nadaug for Miss Intramurals. Not only that, I made the Blue Phoenix fam proud, but the one who was proud the most was my family jud. Happy ko since I made them proud. (I was happy to win the title because for two years, two Quiachons had already won the Miss Intramurals. Not only that, I made the Blue Phoenix family proud. But the one who is proud the most is my family. I’m so happy since I had made them proud.) ”

During the first day of Intramurals, they showcased both of their teams’ jersey.

Jacqueline Sampaga, Golden Lions moderator said that she was proud that Emphasis was hailed as Mr. Intramurals 2019, “I didn’t really trained nor practiced them. I just gave them advice or tips on what to do and how.”
